Is this the outcome of Pain V Itachi?

Could go either way but edo Itachi negs regardless if he uses genjutsu or not.

You can only make Itachi stand a chance against high tier characters using Photoshop. It just illustrates how weak Itachi is. But the outcome wouldn't be that way as shown in the Photoshop for 4 reasons:

1). Rinnegan is immune to Ocular Genjutsu. Infinite Tsukuyomi couldn't work on the Rinnegan. What makes you think a weaker Tsukuyomi works, when a stronger Tsukuyomi didn't?

2). If Tsukuyomi would work, ET Itachi would have used it on ET Nagato. He didn't. We can conclude it wouldn't have worked.

3). Tsukuyomi's objective is to torture the mind of the victim. Pain is a dead body thus no torture would work on him.

4). Pain literally squashed SM Jiraiya like he was nothing. Itachi & Kisame admitted inferiority to Jiraiya. Pain would squash him even worse.

In an actual matchup, Pain would only need either Animal Path or Asura Path to defeat Itachi and not all of the 6. Either Deva Path or Nagato himself is beyond curb-stomping.

I would give it to Itachi based on Jaraiya using genjutsu on 3 of the paths.

I feel itachi stands no chance against Pain. Tsukuyomi is a visual genjutsu. It dont work against Rinnegan which is the sage's eyes. Rinnegan is the most powerful eye and byakugan has more insight that sharingan. Meaning Rinnegan has more insight than Byakugan and added power is the indra and asura chakra existing in the Rinnegan. Indra's genes and Asura's genes cancel all ocular genjutsu and Ninjutsu. Totsuka blade is most probably made of Spiritual energy which can be absorbed together with Susanoo.

Pain beats itachi, edo or not.
