Any proof?

Was it written by Kishimoto or not. You got any proof it's canon?

Edit: Seeing as you're not going to answer the question I'll do it for you. It wasn't written by the author of the series. Therefore it not canon.

If you don't have a kekkai genkai to suppress biju power, then no one can(the biju only). The only way to beat it is to suppress it but if you want to fight it to the death without suppressing the power of the beast kekkai genkai or not, then you'll die. Only people like Hagormoo would win.

Tailed beast are able to take on whole villages. and each village only has Kages that are able to fight them, that's not weak.

Never seen Yamato do anything on the level of Hashirama.

-Shukaku took on Sand Village and lost to 4th Kazekage.
-Kurama took on Konoha and lost to Minato.
-Gyuki took on Kumogakure and lost to 3rd Raikage.

So it stands clear that they're weak, as clearly shown Akatsuki were capturing them with Jinchuriki, whom are stronger.

- Prime Himawari

- 3T Uchihas
- A good number of characters should at least be able to take down 1-3 tails...Like Chouji?

Gai makes a mush out of them. I wonder though if they could be "killed" physically. I mean, they are physical manifestations of chakra with will. Surely they are tangible enough, but can they actually die from taking to much damage? (die as in dissapear into thin air until they are reborn)

Bijuu cannot die.

My boy Hidan beats the **** out of them if no intel or imperfect Jin. Just 1 drop from a boneheaded beast/Jin and he destroys them.

Rushing towards conclusion is not always appropriate brat.
Let me tell you Sakura Hiden: Thoughts of Love, Riding Upon a Spring Breeze (サクラ秘伝 思恋、春風にのせて, Sakura Hiden — Shiren, Harukaze ni Nosete, Viz: Naruto: Sakura's Story — Love Riding the Spring Breeze) is an original story written by Tomohito Ōsaki and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. It is the third book of the Naruto Hiden series.

Only when they're inside the jinchuuriki.

The third Raikage cut off 8 tails's horn and beat it down without intending to kill it.

Sasuke set 8 tails ablaze with Amaterasu and was going to destroy it so put out the flames.

Madara covered the 9 tails with Susanoo to prevent it getting injured. If a tailed beast can be injured then it can be dwstroyed.

The Jyubi was getting roasted by Enton and removed a part of itself to stop itself getting incinerated.

They can be injured and destroyed just not easily.
