It's true and Byakugan can even see a person's nature Neji could see Hinata's thirsty nature. This was apparent to his all seeing eye as early as part 1.

This confuses me lol.. The byakugan was portrayed to be able to see through physical objects throughout the manga with only a barrier ninjutsu obstructing that ability. Do you know what episode the Neji point is from? I'll love to watch and know how the eye then becomes unable to see through regular ground when it can see through equipment or the human body completely.
