I mean the anime is good and all but literally am I the only one just waiting for more of that destiny eye stuff.
We literally had the LAST major development for it on episode 12 or 13.

With things like it doing something with electricity and wormholes

Being able to see through dimensions and more.

We literally only saw it flicker during the Shizuma/Mist Arc for less then something that was 2 seconds.

Now we are on ep 39 and it seems we won't see anything on it until April when these dudes decide to actually book their flight to Earth.

And reading January's episodes it seems they are so basic in plot that we literally won't even have tidbits from Toneri.

I mean don't get me wrong seeing some cast members are good and all but seeing these kids go to places and do things that we've already seen in Naruto is basically been there done that.


We don't need to wait for a timeskip, he has the eye right now and in the manga he has the curse mark....

You can literally tease some set up for Kara or even Sasuke doing some dimension hopping while we get there...

The Mitsuki Oneshot was a relief since even though I read the chapter it was something new with mysteries and abilities from a cast that wasn't wanked to death in Part 2.

Still everything that involves the MAIN plot and the future of the series, not just for Boruto but for Sasuke and Naruto revolves around Boruto's eye and like all the other important stuff it seems to be away from the story for now.

Looks like we won't get anything significant in the anime until April.

At least the Manga might be picking up...

Mitsuki's New Sage Mode powers and the uniqueness of the Jougan should add new elements to the series.

We already have like 3 established plotlines with the Jougan and his mark, the future is for us

kawaki genin , was shown in the first boruto volume cover thing, so he should be introduced soon, i don't think we will see jougan intill kawaki comes

Yeah. A little though. I just frankly don't root for the Aliens v. Technology plotline that the narrative is going for. I know, by the time we get to the middle, the series will be permeated with technology usage, and Aliens will be plunging into the story once we've tackled all of Boruto's emotional obstacles and have done away with the maudlin side of the story. I'll be down for it nevertheless.
