Eh not really.

OT : You haven't missed much tbh.

Naruto = dead
Sasuke = trapped in another dimension
Sarada and Mitsuki = fighting other Kara members

How many times will I have to tell you that.

OT: You didn't miss much tbh.

1. Naruto is dead
2. Sarada negged 100% killing intent Boruto easily
3. Sarada has shown fire ball jutsu

I guess those are the only important stuff you might've missed.

You forgot the most important part: Boruto confirming he wasn't going holding back against her.

Sarada solos. :win:

^This is when they don't hold back.

Boruto himself telling when he's not holding back or not > you telling when Boruto is holding back or not.

Ty and Sarada solos. :bdpf:

We both know that was just a training exercise and not a real fight, I-E: Test the ninja tools.

Sarada solos but your overrating the hell outta the situation!

The problem you have is that Boruto's own words contradict what your trying to imply, don't do this to yourself Indra.

Well, a fight is a fight. And testing the ninja tool was Sarada's job, not Boruto's. Regarless, he said he wasn't holding back.

His job was to try to take her down, which he failed to do after saying he would go all out, then Mitsuki had to intervene, forcing her to use the tool.

It doesn'tatter if it was a training exercise or not, Boruto made it quite clear that he was coming for Sarada for real and his face sold what he stated.

It was ALL of their jobs to do this, hence the point of mission which Boruto stormed out of the room before he got the details.

I'm not discrediting the fight, but it's not a loss. Did Sasuke lose here?

You get my drift

His job was to try to take her down, which he failed to do after saying he would go all out, then Mitsuki had to intervene, forcing her to use the tool.
The whole point of the exercise was to take the ninja tools by engaging in combat. It wasn't a full force match, anyone with brain cells can tell that neither of them were serious to the extent.

We know this fact because neither of them used Ninjutsu, and Boruto's go to when he's serious is clones. We can argue about this all day but we know that's a fact.

The problem you have is that Boruto's own words contradict what your trying to imply, don't do this to yourself Indra.
But I never disagreed with ya. I just said they were not using their full power, which is the truth.

Exactly.

It was a legit fight with a condition: Sarada had to test out the ninja tool whenever she felt like it.

Where was it stated that it was a legit fight to be taken serious and not training exercise?

I'll waiting for the scans but it sounds like your making up shit. Naruto told Boruto not to hold back, in a training exercise to test the ninja tool, and it wasn't a legit fight either :lol

The "training exercise" part is irrelevant conjecture, Boruto said he was going to "come at her for real" and even asked if that was ok (which she said it was). That ends the doubt your trying to place on the seriousness of Borutos attack on Sarada my friend, he simply got bested.

The whole part of the training exercise was for them to test the ninja tools, not for them to actually kill Sarada or vice versa. Boruto saying that he was going to go at her for real, only means that he was taking this seriously. But we already know that Boruto was not using ninjutsu at all (and vice versa). Which means from that narrative, the fight was nothing more than a training exercise.

Even then, we have seen Boruto fight a willing combatant who was using a ninja tool (while using ninjutsu) and still the narrative says that it was nothing more than a training exercise. However, on that point, Shikadai made a mental note that Boruto was really trying to win that match.

Whereas when Boruto and Mitsuki lost, it was nothing more than a 'Damn ninja tools' or "Damn you got us good Sarada" response.

You're not making sense at all. He was serious or not?

It's pretty clear? They were serious in the extent of going full force in hand to hand combat, but that's all.

I usually think serious fights are when two characters are actively trying to force the other out: As in to either knock out, kill, or to put down somehow.

Even in spars I would consider that to be a serious fight if the whole point is to decide a winner from a clear 1 on 1 no holds barreled.

I was just confused that people think Boruto was really using his full powers there. Like chill :lol

My god. So much fanfic in a single post. :lmao:

All those statements and not a single canon scan to back them up. The only thing that's legit is the bold, but that's it. :lol

Do present to me a scan of the following since you seem so sure of yourself :

  • Naruto = dead
  • Sasuke = trapped in another dimension
  • Sarada and Mitsuki = fighting other Kara members

I'll wait, otherwise concession accepted. :sigar:

That's the common understanding, I don't see why the fuss tbh. It was the same as Hinata versus Hanabi. Both went all out, regardless of the lack of ninjutsu/shurikenjutsu or whichever area of expertise that could've been incorporated into the fight. They went as "pure as a Hyuuga sparring" and Boruto was on the losing end before Mitsuki had to intervene. Period.
