The manga is moving so slow it is focusing almost entirely on Boruto and I still feel like he is getting slow development and is boring. That says absolutely nothing about the complete lack of development from anyone else in the series. Like while Sarada and Mitsuki have been in a decent amount of panels I more feel like they have just been there more than anything and have not really been pushed or developed themselves in any meaningful way so far in the manga.

Right because the original Naruto story focused on anyone but Naruto and Sasuke.

People expecting this series to not focus on anyone but a main character is joking to themselves.

And the people complaining that the series is focusing on the MC, I just can't respect:

1. The story isn't just focusing on the MC, he's leading the series, as he should be. But there has a been a giant jump in progress in terms of expansion on MULTIPLE character abilities thus far.

2. Shitty random noobs like Tentou had his own 'personal growth arc' in the Manga.

3. Characters are using new jutsu every chapter :lol

Like enough is enough. The first chapter LITREALLY said this is Boruto's story.

Imagine me complaining about Mitsuki in his one shot by saying "Why does Mitsuki only get screen time in his STORY?"

Lord have mercy... Not today.

I don't really know who these most are, but by the end of the series I'm sure it'll a much more appreciated finished product.

I think the Anime is doing a better job at gathering a fan base since the monthly format is quite terrible.

The anime has on average about 5 times as much content per year as the manga so it has way more time to do just about everything than the manga does. Plus it does not dress 12 year old girls like women of the night.

I'm willing to be that the actual adapted content post-movie will be better than how the Manga portrays it anyway.
