How can there be justice in a world where Kabuto and Orochimaru face no consequences for betraying their country, starting a war, and killing thousands for their own selfish reasons. They commited about every crime anyone could possibly commit and seemingly faced no punishment at all and got to live free lives. What message does that send to all their multitude of victims and would they have hatred toward Naruto and others for not punishing them for their crimes? Also if Orochimaru and Kabuto can get away with what they did then how can anyone be arrested or punished no matter what crime they committed since it unlikely to be worse than what Orochimaru did?
If I got arrested I would say yeah sorry and you can't arrest me since apparently I did nothing wrong. I feel like society could have much bigger upheaval than the writers in the new series are willing to acknowledge if someone like Orochimaru got off free for their crimes and the average citizen learned that Naruto was actively evening working with him at this time. It would be like Hitler or Osama Bin Laden getting to live free and finding out the president even talked and occasionally even worked with them some of the time. I feel like people would flip.
