It seems the events were made canon since Kishi drew the antagonist and his daughter was even an antagonist for the most recent Boruto anime arc. But the only reason Neji failed to see through the mist is due to a kid named Ranmaru's doujutsu which was pretty cool.

And just what is that?

Its a Dojutsu. Its abilities range from seeing through walls, casting irresistible genjutsu, seeing into ur soul/thoughts and knowing everything instantly , and countering other dojutsu as it did the Byakugan , which also means base 3T or even MS/EMS would have their powers blocked by this kid's Dojutsu , or maybe not but its pretty haxed on paper. He can also see a person's life form which gives him a much more acute and far seeing precog than Sharingan , and his eye is so powerful it can bring someone back to life from near death by sharing life energy from the eye itself.

Yea ur right , anime made it seem like Raiga passed the blades to his daughter which doesn't make sense if Ringo had it last. Also Raiga's daughter is too young for someone who died shortly after VOTE1.

What are you talking about Raiga did not pass kiba to anyone. he was dead. Ameyuri was before Raiga that is why he has the same uniform as Jinpachi from the older gen. she stole the swords and her age is fine as the Raiga arc takes place after the VOTE Sasuke fight.
