Irene and Acnologia end up fighting? :WAT: I used to watched fairy tail too.. but i don't recollect ever seeing Wendy (she solos btw) being exposed in the way some of the older cast were.

OT: None of it makes sense tbh.. Apart from the dresses, their facial expressions also don't look fitting for kids. I don't read the manga.. But if i do eventually pick it up, i doubt i will get used to this lol

Well its a good thing i haven't seen the OVA then lol.. I picked up the manga during Wendy's fight in that FACE arc (I just had to see her Dragon force mode) and though i haven't completed it, i still don't recollect any Wendy fanservice scenes.

Which ova was that? I watched several if not all, but I don't remember a Wendy oriented naked scene. Now there are some hot spring scenes where several of the girls can be seen naked in the bath house, but those mainly focused on Lucy and Erza, and the other girls may just be seen passing by or running away when Natsu or someone else barges in.
