I just saw the thread about Boruto taking Neji's spot in team 3 only for it to be latter changed to team 7. and we all know how bad Neji wanted to be main brach and get inside of Hinatia so what better way then being rencarnated as Boruto.

I think in a way, Neji's character embodied a cage bird, being tied down by fate via Branch member. And Boruto too, is being tied by his own fate, according to Momoshiki in that he will lose everything, because of his eyes.

In that correlation, there must be some type of semblance there. I wouldn't be surprised if Boruto takes over the 'caged bird' mantle

They are currently nerfing Boruto, can't blame them ( he is way too strong ) but when his Jougan will be awakened, we will see some Hyuga greatness ( which is definitely possible since the Jougan can see the chakra network ).

Thats another thing I said he is ignoring his Hyuga genes by not training gentle fist style with Hanabi and ignoring fact that with this training he could actually fully awaken his eye.

boruto still a kid . any boy irl at his age love someone powerful ,look cool , badass wearing black suit +cape and mystery like adult sasuke .not mention about in many year after the war . there are a rumor in konoha about sasuke . strongest leaf hero working in shadow . bla bla like that .

that why i like how boruto was design . he is genius but not completely OP adult way ahead his age and know everything need to do like itachi . it pretty boring and no challenge at all

Tbh I would like the idea of him being an incarnate of Neji and Sarada being an incarnate of Itachi. Maybe that's a hidden power all of them have, the ability to reincarnate.

To be real though: They have similarities in that they are both prodigies, but they have several key differences.

Neji was known to train and to work hard for his techniques unlike Boruto.
Neji cared about honor and dignity. Boruto doesn't care about that kind of stuff.
