Bleh, i was hoping it'd be a bit sooner. I'm excited to see the chunin exam fights in their entirety though.

Nothing unexpected. Only natural for them to have a big first mission arc in the style of the Land of Waves arc before they do the Chunin Exams, after all.

The eps before the movie arc are not filler they're a mission arc for the genins. Which makes sense since they just graduated afterall u want them to take the chunin exam right after? Lol plus we need more team konohamaru depth before the movie

I don't even want them to really adapt the movie. They shouldn't have done this if they knew this was the route they wanted to take. I'm quite annoyed.

The only nice thing is the possibility of fleshed out fights but i dont care about seeing anything to do with that movie again. It's just going to take up time we could be getting new content. At least I guess I can ignore it and follow the manga until it's over.

We should get some build up to their arrival in the 3 months up until then.

BOLD: Except the movie was supposed to be the finale of Naruto which is what Kishi initially thought he could end the series. However due to the success and how demanding the fandoms are, it got to the point where Boruto made it into sequel. Also Kishi had alot of stuff outline and got scrapped out so it's inevitable to have reboot.

Honestly at this point, I cared more about the movie arc than the stuff we got in the Anime. Boruto will get more punished and I wold love to see how all the chuunin fights turned out. If it means to flesh the Ootsutski villains and add more dimension as well as adding more stakes and tension then I'm all for it.

We could have done without alot of it that's for sure. They should have quickly gotten to where we are not an gotten the movie adaptation over with if they were gonna do it.

Especially since as it stands right now Boruto isn't that popular I have heard. They should focus on not giving people a reason to drop it.

Well, I only hope that they can keep things interesting til it comes the time to animate the movie.

As Guntah said, I don't expect anything less than some type of Land Of Waves arc, that should work as a way to keep things interesting.

Again it wasn't really Kishimoto ideas to continue. If I remember correctly, Jump and the fandom insisted Kishi to work more on Boruto. Boruto isn't as popular as before but it still plays a factor that prompt into the continuation in the first place due to the movie success.

Either way the movie arc is essential for Boruto natural growth progression which reaches its climax from everything that was built up to. Honestly the Movie version had alot of misses opportunities and it was absolutely rushed so the Anime have the chance to make things right.

It's better than a complete recap we have in the manga, the Anime will make alot of changes and adjustment to the main plot. Its questionable what roles Toneri plays in the movie. So much new details will be implemented from Kishi original script as the "True Canon" that makes atleast more people left intriguing and optimistic than before. This give more people a reason to watch than giving people a reason to drop it.
