I'll be honest it's fun to say itachi would win but rinnegan is immune to genjutsu so it won't be an easy one shot fight

They were encased in a rinne sharingan Susanoo which wasnt letting the light through that doesn't prove immunity.

It's a tough one the problem I have is Sasuke's rinnegan is different to the regular rinnegan, the light not being let in and all was via Susanoo.

I'm also included to believe that the rinnegan(regular)retains its EMS powers(seeing thorugh genjutsu) minus maybe some jutsu. I have read somewhere that the rinnegan(Nagato's) was immune to genjutsu and I thought you had some proof for that. Then you have Nagato getting caught in genjutsu (a sound 1) althoigh that is based on a different sense so work differently.

Well since it's confirmed IT doesn't effect rinnegan users I assumed the same true for all genjutsu if nagato was caught in a genjutsu I guess its,possibly only immune to visual genjutsu

Stamina is a non-factor when a participant's speed, reflexes, one-shots etc completely outmatch the opponent's. Only slow ass participants need large stamina to survive the match. It's not even that itachi has low stamina in the first place, he was resilient than hebi Sasuke and out-lasted him first.

Wow, to think rinnegan is immune to ocular genjutsu is like saying itachi is immune to rinnegan ninjutsu. How asinine that is. Sasuke used Rinne-sharingan deflection to encase his susanoo with the deflecting aura and thus the susanoo blocked the light. Thats not a feat of rinnegan not even close, not even is that a feat of rinne-sharingan, the most devoloped Dojutsu lmfao. Rinne-sharingan + Perfect susanoo = IT block barrier. This is not even something I should waste my time arguing, since it should've been common knowledge by now, anyone who watches any kind of anime should know that japanese is a very complex contextual language which changes in meaning depending on the context in which it's said. Sasuke's eye is called a rinnegan but the thing is madara called it a one eyed rinnegan and hagoromo called it Sasuke's rinnegan. He couldve said just rinnegan when he said "we need tailed beasts chakra and Sasuke's rinnegan".

There are a lot of contextual terms in NV which should be read analytically and intellectually instead of taking every little sh*t literally.

I doubt shared vision would allow Nagato himself to fall under genjutsu through his paths. Otherwise, Nagato would've appeared in Frog Song's genjutsu itself rather than just the 3 paths that were caught.

Sure, they would all SEE the horrific images of Tsukoyomi, but they wouldnt feelit like the one in the genjutsu would. Seeing yourself get stabbed would not have the same effect to seeing and feeling yourself get stabbed.
