Kakashi's Raiton Shiden vs Raikiri

Based off of today's episode Kakashi's use of his Purple Electricity technique looked a little aggressive compared to how he used Raikiri back in the day but overall i think its a better and more powerful jutsu compared to Raikiri

we know he can tune its power too

as seen compared to when he used it on the NUE


so far it can be a full body current like the Lightning blade, it can be used to defend other lightning attacks and it can pierce large beings


in the description it can apparently summon thunder/rain clouds too if shot up in the air

I think Boruto will get purple lightning and combine it with that.

Then Sarada will get Chidori and combine it with CES.

I agree it seems more suitable for all around combat purposes but all its missing is shape manipulation

He did it as a substitute for lightning blade but it seems he also made sure to improve every lightning blade aspect with PL

It seems like it can do the same amount of stuff too but unlike the lightning blade he can whoop it out more quickly without the needed stances, etc....

Since he wanted to make a move that can be used without the Sharringan meant that he actually had to complete the move he didn't complete when he was a kid.

Basically he actually completed his move now and if Sasuke had PL it would likely be more efficient then the chidori he has now (and chidori based moves).

As in if Sasuke switched all his moves to being PL one's instead of chidori one's he could likely (with his skill) make a better result.
