And no, the chains aren't part of the first seal. They're part of the upgraded seal that allowed her to control Kurama. She wasn't able to control him as a kid.

Kushina has 1 Four Symbol seal. Naruto has 2 Four Symbol seal which makes 8 Trigrams seal. So Naruto has 2 while Kushina has 1 of the same seal. So they are the same.XD

Kushina's seal it's got a wheel chains and stakes.

As you can see the seals are different, I asked made in heaven for her proof that Kushina's seal uses the 4 Trigram seal as she claimed and I've yet to see it.

How strong was Kushina? Where does she rank in terms of skills as a kunoichi? We only got bits and scraps to go by but how strong were her sealing chains? I know they were strong enough to subdue Kyubi.....do they make her a kage level kunoichi?

No. Having one "good" ability and knowing nothing else about the character makes it impossible to determine it's level. It's like saying Hidan is kage cause he has some sick immortality skill. I don't remember her being hyped anyways, and Adamantine chains doesn't put one in kage level.

Being an uzumaki gives her more life force than usual, so I guess that's a plus, and having that special chakra to use the chains, maybe ... but anything else is just a guess.

The ability to use the chains in combat is a separate issue I agree, however the point of reference to her seal was to confirm she possessed the chains. I don't think you've been followed what's been said in not surprised many posts have been deleted due to insecure fans.
