Salad is in fact a repeat. There's nothing new that we didn't already see in Sasuke and Sakura, whether that be good or bad.

In all honesty Sarada has great character and flaws, but since they put her like that from the beginning? It just makes her best as the main female lead side character; instead of the main one. The fact that her character is just too perfect from the beginning just makes it even more boring as her being the main character, i don't hate her at all i love her and people who hates on her character are just rustled at the fact that a female can kick ass.

It's like this, you have a 6 star character in the game fully maxed out and go through stages like it's nothing; that is boring and no one would really enjoy that at all in a video game vs a start off character in a game who you can level up throughout the entire game and actually level up along with the character, just think of Boruto and Sarada in that case of scenario in terms of who is the main lead here.
Sarada seems to be a static character from or mini-dynamic since she changed from her not caring to actually becoming a shinobi but they developed her too early for that where else Boruto actually has many obstacles to overcome along his path so he can actually experience the pain Naruto went through, why else will Boruto refer himself to an old brat in chapter 1? That's him learning through mistakes like a normal human being; in fact, he's probably the only main character in Shounen without plot armor (except Deku), that's why i've always taken interest in him due to the fact that i've actually experienced it with him and we actually do have something in common, after my parents told me their story i've started to change my ways.

That is Boruto being just that, him being the main character just makes so much sense to me, but that's just me and my opinion, people are always entitled to what they want and i'm not trying to force it down.
