His design is pretty cool and ninja-like. he was a mean and selfish villain but came to his senses in the end. I think he's decent at best. all in all hes meh in my opinion

vote above and comment why

His final moments were the first time I perked up and thought 'oh, this series is good, actually.'

I owe a lot to him because that death probably kept me watching in the midst of a terrible introductory arc. On top of that his design and powers are iconic and dope and the novels added a believable and heroic backstory to him, founding the 'Revolutionaries' makes him even cooler.

I like his design. The guy was a true Shinobi. I also like the fact that he realized what Haku had done for him, instead of being soulless. He would out like a badass too. Plus, he almost killed Kakashi after exposing him.

Zabuza seemed like they actually took the time to cement his purpose as the first main villain, and the show continued pretty much with these rich enemies up until post pain. Plus, this was the debut of full on tnj, it’s annoying now, but it was used amazingly in the zabuza fight

Yep, there are just some enemies you have to put down regardless.

Outside of inhuman or crazed threats like Kaguya or BZ, no there aren't?....this was the entire point of Zabuza's death/Naruto's Ninja Way. All of Naruto was about this.
If they ruthlessly murdered people and cause destruction and chaos, yes they should be put down. Otherwise, in this series, we have this....

That just because someone did all the shit they did, everyone should hold hands and sing kumbuya? :lol
If you want to play into the hands of an objective evil purposely generating a cycle of hate? Kinda?

This line is always taken out of context. Remember Naruto had literally been inside of his head. He knew his memories and regrets. Naruto is referring to that Obito, the one as a kid and the hypothetical Hokage he wanted to be. It's not that insane when Obito basically taught him his ninja way.

It's clunky and a really clumsy line of Kishimoto's, sure- but to disregard the entire series over it is a waste. The way Zabuza & Haku's death teaches Naruto empathy is subtle and makes it work imo.

The fight between Team 7 and Zabuza & Haku was the reason I started watching Naruto and liked the anime at the first place.
Zabuza, as a character, was shown as not only being a cruel villain, but also having feelings.
