Temari is the authoritative figure in the Nara household. There's moments after the war where Temari even insults and beats Shikamaru, so there's no chance in hell she becomes some fangirl. In fact she spends the war next to Gaara's two fangirls...and the difference couldn't be more obvious.

Regardless, the point is, if her bloodline can give Kodachi an idea for a new manga series within 1 year of Naruto ending, imagine how much more potential she would have if her bloodline's potential was actually explored in the original manga instead of part 3 only.

Sorry, but facts are facts. Hinata would have made a better heroine than Sakura, which isn't much of a feat anyways since Sakura is the worst shonen heroine ever.

Byakugan: Related to Sasuke, Kakashi, and Ootsutsuki. Unique among Team 7 unlike Sakura's genjutsu, healing, and CES, which Sasuke/Naruto also have. Part 3 also shows just how much potential her bloodline has, as Kodachi managed to whip out a story using her bloodline as a basis for Bolt's powers.

Gentle Fist: More diverse, unique, and varied move set than just "punch" that has multiple aplications such as Air Palm, Rotation, taijutsu like 64 Palms, Absorption like TLF, or Chakra avatars like TLF.

Similarities with Naruto: Manga already points these out, so skip. Sakura has none.

Similarities with Sasuke: Family issues with Hanabi/Hiashi are akin to Sasuke's with Itachi/Fugaku. Could lead to Sasuke opening up to Hinata realistically and kicking off their friendship. Sakura has none. Both are from noble clans wielding dojutsus.

Point of Naruto: The series was about how the shinobi system creates destructive, harsh, and abusive environments for everyone and how this damages children. This is a theme in several of the characters, including Naruto, Sasuke, Kabuto, Neji, Gaara, even the main villains Nagato, Obito, and Madara... and of course.... Hinata. Sakura has none of that.

Personal Story: Hinata has her own story about the Hyuga clan and her struggles with her family (Hiashi/Neji/Hanabi) that is isolated from Naruto's ''I want to be Hokage'' dream and Sasuke's ''Kill Itachi'' dream. Sakura has no story of her own and everything about her revolves around Team 7.

Hinata wanted Naruto's recognition and is thirsty for Naruto. Her value to the story was as much as hers was to the clan (superflous/extra/unnecessary).

Sakura wants Sasuke's acknowledgement and is thirsty for Sasuke. Her value to the story was she wasn't privileged or a incarnate, didn't have a special bloodline or handouts.

Your fanfic is just that, if she was worth replacing Sakura kishi would've done it.
