Boruto is 30th 'cause of the monthly release. It really goes too slow for the series to go up in the sales ranking. If or when the manga goes weekly, I'm sure it's going at least in top 10. The current plot seems really similar to Shippuuden with Kara being almost the same as Akatsuki and this could be another reason for the manga being so far behind lots of others.

Actually, from what I've seen, the worst received episode of the series to date is Episode 17, the one with Sarada delivering the doll.

Sure, its fillerish as hell, and its not really rated badly specifically because of Sarada, but the point stands.

Why do Sarada fan's think she would be a great MC?

She's just as generic and carbon copy as the rest of them. Her goal is pretty much Naruto's and she does it with less the emotional impact.

If anyone would be MC, I'd rather Sasuke take over than the kids.

I personally disagree with all the boruto haters, i honestly think the nostalgia is getting to them. Watching boruto, in a open, welcoming, and a nonbias way i think the anime is really good. If you really get into it there are a lot of subtle aspects like how most people dont realize boruto is a semi one punch man type of character, that scene where he calls sarada out for not acting like a hokage would which really grew the plot progression, the constant appearances of toneri, the fact that no one believes boruto when he says he has a byakugan but really its a tenseigan, etc. The story has just began and it has already made some really good plot progression.. that is when you look passed the slice of life stuff.

I am tempted to say because they're Uchiha fans for the most part, and though they would never admit it, they care more for the name attached to the character than said character herself.

the early chapters are that bad. There's no point in being defensive about it when its spot on the list speaks for itself.

you're assuming every negative critique about the anime comes from bias or nostalgia. Anybody can objectively go through the anime with a comb and list flaws in the last arc alone. Everyone who points out legit issues in this series isn't a hater. It shouldn't take 40 -50 episodes to do the same thing the main story did in half the time.

Well, yeah, but seriously, do watch Sakura vs Shin, even if its just by looking it up on Youtube. I think both of them are fodder and I still found the fight awesome.

You're making a grave mistake. Don't skip any episode. Each and every episode is important character-wise. And also watch all of gaiden. Are u seriously just gonna watch fights? How old are you? U think the series is all about fights and fk the characters? . Hidden mist arc is a must watch too
