true xD. but it's still kinda cheap cause it's not really Kabuto vs Nagato at that point. it's not really fighting a fight it's more like running from it

it's like a lord being challenged to combat, but instead of fighting themselves they just name a champion to fight for them instead

Kabuto was never the kind to practise his art by punching a tree. He's a cheap character, and that's part of his appeal- but Edo Tensei is by far the most earned jutsu in this manga.

Everyone except for Madara and Itachi who can escape his jutsu and Hanzo who can slightly resist it.

It still takes time to use though, really don't see why if he doesn't start with it people think he automatically wins lol.

Didn't say it didn't, but now you mention it- Until Chibaku Tensei, nothing is stopping ET from starting when he has Hiding Like a Mole to hide within the floor. Then there's Sage nature to create obstacles, a ridiculous sized summon as a distraction, phantom sound chains and his hydrification. Any of these strategies work. Especially in conjunction with one another.

Kabuto has stupid defences that make versus matches silly. He's ill-suited to VS match-ups unless you severely limit him. Even if they had the versatility to, nobody without intel knows to counter all of this.

Nagato easily punishes Kabuto if he tries to go underground lol his summons don't mean anything here and his big moves solo this pretty easily lol.

I'm not sure if hydrification is protecting from CST lol and if he becomes one with the earth thats getting smashed whats the point?

Technique faster than Chibaku Tensei? Shinra Tensei is Nagato's fastest Jutsu, and probably the fastest in the manga after Hirashin. Shinra Tensei is just manipulating magnetic forces in a repulsion manner, and magnetic force travels at light speed, which is why it always seemed ST is instant. Hydrification or any regeneration Kabuto has isn't saving him from large scale Shinra Tensei; hydrification didn't save Suigetsu from getting blasted by Biju Dama, and Orochimaru said a hit from 4 Tailed Naruto TBB would kill him, even with his White Snake Power. Shinra Tensei is unfathomably more powerful than BM Biju Dama Bee used on Suigetsu or TBB from Naruto on Orochimaru by a huge margin. He doesn't have any defensive Jutsu to protect him from large scale ST.

1. Thats not the scan, most of the civilians still died

2. This was the force after it completely annihilated a village and ima tell you right now that when a force hits something the subsequent interactions are weaker (by a lot)

3. Water being hit with that kind of force is still being affected not sure how it would work EXACTLY but the force isn't just passing through him.

Katsuya has a body structure designed to tank physical attacks. It's got nothing to do with durability. She could survive being pulverised by virtually anything, because her body lacks any skeletal structure or vital organs to die. I don't recall Kabuto having a body structure like Katsuya to survive CST, and all of the modifications he acquired from Taka and Sound 5 aren't saving him from getting killed by CST or lower scale.

-Orochimaru stated TBB from 4 Tailed Naruto could kill him, even with his defensive techniques and regeneration.
-Suigetsu got almost vaporized by Killer Bee, even with geographical advantage on his side.

Large scale Shinra Tensei kills him.
