What are your thoughts on Kagura as a character?

I honestly liked him before knowing his character just in terms of design but then.. i hated him alot! couldn't stand his naggy ass. What about u guys? vote above

Not that great character but I like him. I like fact how he becomes beast and can't control himself when he has sword in his hand.

And no he is no like Sakura. Kagura is prodigy and strong ,has some actual background story unlike Sakura , he is grandson of 4 Mizukage and has his own struggles ,

Zabuza was dying anyway, Naruto's TNJ wasn't necessary he would've killed Gato because Gato intended to kill him. + he raised Haku they had a relationship similar to parent child there's no comparison between the 2 situations.

He's kindhearted but confused and is afraid of losing control. And at the same time the strongest of the 7 swordsman from the arc. He could be an interesting character given development.

So I liked him.

on the contary zabuza said on and on that he doesn't care about haku and that he is just a tool but then before he dies he cried for haku and cared about him because of naruto's tnj.

Nah Haku was irrelevant Zabuza was dying anyway he would've killed Gato and died, him crying was forced and BS.

He was cool at first but ended up disappointing in badassery value.

I know he can and will be great later on though when balls drop.

His design is cool, but his character is lame in my opinion.

I found it unjustifiable and pathetic that he blamed his random bouts of violence all on the fact that his grandpa was violent. So what? We didn't get any indication that Kagura ever actually lived with Yagura or learned from him. Heck, I bet he never even met Yagura! Just being his grandson by blood is no excuse for anything.

If anything, Kagura was technically worse than Yagura. Yagura's violence was influenced by things such as being controlled by Obito, being a kage in a time of war, being a jinchuuriki, etc...

Kagura's violence was all just Kagura. No excuses.

As if that isn't bad enough, all it takes is showing him one little scar to pretty much enslave the man. Come on!

 

[The Paradox]

I felt like things with him were rushed. It really made the side swapping annoying. If they had returned to him later on in the story, it might have been more interesting.. though I understand not wanting an all out war between Mist and Leaf this early on lol. Just idk. I felt like if he played the role of villain a bit longer, him coming to his final realization would have had a heavier impact. Plus I felt like he got nerfed a bit. He was a great swordsman when demonstrating, but in a real fight I was underwhelmed by him. He's a 4/10 character.
