Boruto episode 33:

Naruto episode 33:
You must be registered for see images

Someone here posted this joke above. even though it depends on the situation look below for example. i can post a comedic moment from naruto and compare it to the same ep number in boruto which could be a fight or a serious situation. what the post above did is compare a light-hearted episode from boruto to the same ep number in naruto which coincides with the sasuke breaking zaku's hand thingy

It depends on the situation genuius look at this for example

Naruto episode 14 vs Boruto episode 14

You must be registered for see images

Naruto episode 21 vs Boruto episode 21

You must be registered for see images

Naruto episode 28 vs Boruto episode 28

You must be registered for see images

Naruto episode 23 vs Boruto episode 23

You must be registered for see images

IT DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My point is it just depends on the situation in both series as i compared above how boruto had serious moments in an ep number where naruto had comedy moments in that exact ep number

Still doesn't change the fact that they danced with drawings like a TV show for kids.

The market is slice of life, while Naruto was serious and had corny moments here and there. Boruto doesn't take itself seriously. All the bad stuff is placed under the rug and the show continues like nothing happened.

It's why the Anime is crap for the most part. No emotional investment long term.

Hopefully the Boruto Movie can save this trash

I think the OP actually wanted to point out how Childish things turned out. And it's true. So...

Naruto is better by far comparing total episodes so far. And more serious.

But really I’m sure Naruto academy days wouldn’t have been much more exciting than Boruto academy days so I’m waiting to see the arcs starting from graduation

Hopefully there’s one or two before the movie arc

You are missing the point that the anime will eventually get into the manga stuff.

It is not a slice of life show in general. The show has simply been in a relatively slice of life era for the past 3 arcs. You are being too impatient.

Kara, Otsutsuki invasions, cannibals kidnapping kids and the destruction of a village are not slice of life. These are the things that the anime is getting into soon.

Heck, to be honest, you are actually judging the anime based on the wrong episodes. For instance, the Inojin/Himawari drawing episode wasn't even a part of the main arc. It was just filler between arcs. The most recent main arc involved a would-be coup de tat in the mist village, and that certainly wasn't slice of life. Judging by the episodes that you are judging based on, is akin to judging the Naruto series based on that part 1 filler episode where Naruto, Chouji and Sakura were making ramen.

I said this in the other thread and I'll say it again:

Please remember the starts of the respective series. Naruto started with Naruto's class graduating from the academy. Boruto started on the first day of the academy.

Remembering this, try to cut the Boruto anime some slack.

I know it'll get to the better stuff later, but for now it's pretty terrible pacing wise.

I appreciate the character growth and friendship moments, but enough is enough.

Why can't you just deal with the fact that it is a kids show?
It's not you are disrespecting Sarada by saying this
