This site has been reliable for 3 years. all the list is always correct . It labeled what's canon and what's filler in Boruto.

I used to use it back when Naruto shippuden was airing and it was always accurate.

I was right first arc and mist arc are canon

Well, I see it as the same thing as when canon had that stupid boat racing arc in between the Tsunade Search and the Sasuke Retrieval Arcs, the one where Sasuke gets his ass kicked by an Ame nin with Tobirama's sword, but Naruto manages to later beat him. They make it seem like Sasuke leaves the village over that when in Canon its more so directed at the Gaara fight. Its a bit of filler forced into Canon, this is more or less the same thing.

OT: You said everything was Canon. Wouldn't anything being filler at all leave you in the wrong?

I don't really remember, did Naruto fight Raiga after Sasuke had left? Like did they go on missions after Sasuke left in the filler era? Or was it before he left?

The manga confirms the field trip arc and the fact that Kodachi is involved with the anime himself adds weight to it being canon. Does he need to give every detail in the manga? no, will he expand on it later ? maybe.

If kodachi wasn't involved with the anime then it could he argued to be filler.

I just acknowledge official statements from the authors on the canon. So far the Academy Arc, the Mist Arc, and such have been referenced.

Granted they are the only two official arcs of the story so far. I'm assuming we'll have one more big arc before the Chunin Examinations, and then afterwards the discussion of canon/filler will be over since they'll be adapting the Manga content outside of the few random ass filler episodes they throw in.

Unless they continue more filler arcs.
