Was danzo vs sasuke..

I know people loved this fight(myself included) but sasuke vs deidara is always seen as sasukes tactical masterpiece of a fight, but I think the danzo one trumps it. Sasuke was a straight up genius, especially considering how unhinged he was at the time. Not only was he not fazed much(at least not as much as Karin)by the initial izanagi use, he continued to use his stronger attacks to pressure him into continuing to use it after seeing it the first time. That entire fight was sasuke going in blind(not literally) and reading danzo while pressuring him into a corner. Then, he uses arguably his weakest jutsu to trick danzo into a loss. Something danzo himself taunted him for earlier in the fight. Just sayin, hebi vs deidara gets its praise for tactics, but these where better, and more subtle. This was ms sasuke at his best. Thoughts?

Danzo was nerfed(no 3 tome since shisui's eye was on cooldown) and holding back( fighting conservatively to prep against tobi). Thats why the deidara fight was better.

What he did against danzo is certainly slept on. Danzo with a lot of experience and knowledge with sharingan, yet sasuke was able to punk and outsmart him with clever use of genjutsu. The one against deidara takes the cake but danzo was as good as well

Sasuke figuring out Izanagi was a feat in itself. Danzo was using the ability in discretion and not alot of shinobi can fight Danzos 10 lives. It really showcased the power of Susanoo and Sasukes use of genjutsu showed of how useful it can be.

Danzo was nerfed(no 3 tome since shisui's eye was on cooldown) and holding back( fighting conservatively to prep against tobi). Thats why the deidara fight was better.

- He wasn't nerfed. Having several Sharingan activated and repeatedly using Izanagi all while trying to maintain control of Hashirama's cells while having recently used KA. How many chakra taxing things does Danzo need to do before he needs a break? Rinnegan Sasuke could only teleport across distances 3 times before his cool down.

- Sasuke continuously used Susano'o to force Danzo to keep Izanagi activated as that was the only way he could counter such power and speed.

Susano'os arrows were so quick that he couldn't even weave hand seals in time.

He made him use all his eyes, fooled him with Genjutsu, then landed the finishing hits all before Shisui's eye recovered. Whether Tobi was there or not this would still happen as Danzo wouldn't suddenly gain the speed to evade hits or the awareness to see through the Genjutsu.

I agree, Sasuke had more fighting experience vs. Danzo than vs. Deidara so we could clearly see his evolution in terms of intelligence.

Sasuke vs Danzo was a splendid fight. Using genjutsu to make Danzo think he still had more time and sharingan to use Izanagi was a great play.

Sasuke vs Danzo had better animation, both anime and manga quality wise. The pages of Danzo vs Sasuke always surpasses any other panel in quality in entire naruto manga. I liked the show off of his analytical quickness and intellectual nimbleness, hence even in a precarious death bed situation of losing eye-sight and going up against an izanagi user, he came out victorious with precise battle timing and clever mental manipulation and trickery. Itachi was surprised Sasuke fought and survived Izanagi. That says a lot about how Sasuke's intellect and Skill >> Death. The fight is literally the best. Obviously above Deidara one.

danzo got around susanno multiple times that fight, and would have performed even better had he had access to his 3 tome or if he didn't have to worry about Tobi:

So we have a danzo that planned to conserve his chakra to fight obito and had his sharingan out of commission, vs a fresh sasuke with obito as possible backup, and karin feeding him chakra. And you wonder why it doesn't compare to the Sasuke vs Deidara.

Manga facts is manga facts. Its like saying the Naruto v pain fight was amazing but glossing over pain fighting a village beforehand

Sasuke wasn't really that intelligent in this fight, he just used common sense. Danzo was just really dumb.

True. But he was still in bad shape. As seen when Karin told him even tho she healed him he couldn't stand another fight. So either he fought Danzo fatigued or her healing have different effects.(the biting and the natural healing that Sakura did)
