The 6 paths of pain itself is a jutsu, controlling 6 cadavers and channeling the rinnegans jutsus through them IS the 6 paths of pain, I could care less for anything you think. It’s also more logical than the idiotic assumption that nagato has rinnegan jutsus exclusive to him and not the original owner of the eyes, especially considering every other instance of dojutsu transplants show otherwise

Nagatos hair turning white after using rinnetensei is proof he was using his own jutsu and not rinnegan's jutsu. Sasuke was outta chakra but could use sharingan to control manda. Body chakra =/= dojutsu chakra, but since rinne tensei affected his hair which is part of his own body, it means its not rinnegan jutsu.

He probably meant in terms of chakra strength. Obito did a lot with just one eye of the rinnegan and he had little SENJU cells to compensate. He did not give them path abilities as apperently that costs too much chakra plus it's more efficient he found to just let them use their nature abilities. Despite the difference in feats. Obito did a whole lot of damage with just one rinnegan eye and he is. It even an original wielded

I guess in obito's defense he USED very little path abilities outside devs and outer. I guess since he lacked both eyes

But let's be real here. Nagato's eye is Madara's eye. Nagato has the best skill but in terms of raw power madara takes it as an original usee. I think of the rinnegan like superman. It's as strong in a given point as the author likes to make it. From unbelievably broken to down to earth.

Sasuke's rinnegan can also cast Rinnegan Genjutsu which is basically a mini IT. As well as the rinnegan seems to enhance the Susanos I'm not sure if that was retconned though since kishi can be sketchy with that.

Keep in mind every rinnegan user is ALWAYS nerfed in some way. We have seen Naruto go all out but we have never seen a rinnegan user go deep and full potential unrestrained. With nagat o it was him either being crippled, a reanimation, or in general not being an original wielded. Madara is was pretty much plot and getting blind sides by black zetsu along with rushing the IT plan. Sasuke either was chakra drained or had not mastered his eye.

Sasuke himself uses Preta, and even mentions him absorbing the kyuubi chakra as a rinnegan ability. Him and mads not being able to do it on the scale of nagato does not mean they weren’t using the same jutsu... plus... you know... there’s the whole ct thing too. On top of that, the paths are only the paths because nagato named them that way. He decided to create a jutsu that split the rinnegans jutsus into 6 seperate bodies that he can control. THIS is the six paths of pain jutsu. Sasuke, mads, or any other rinnegan user wouldn’t call them by “Preta” or “heretic” as these are nagato designations for each cadaver with each different ability. Believe me or don’t, but put my theory in there and the db and sasuke and mads and all the rinnegan stuff actually makes sense
