Maybe Senju weren't endogamic , we know that some Uchiha joined Senju clan during the war between them. And Senju accepted them.

I think that the Senju Clan isn't a clan like Uchiha or Huyga who are closed and endogamic.

I think that when Konoha had been created, there was a big mix between Senju and random people of Konoha.

So it's possible that Tobirama could be the great grand father of Minato. Yes Minato hasn't Senju characteristics like great strenght and stamina but generation after generation , the Senju DNA disapeared.

Officialy no one except Tsunade is Senju's descendant. But theoretically it's possible that many people of Konoha are descendant of mix Senju + Other people.

And it would be cool that Minato is the great grandson of Tobirama.

Tobirama without his helmet look like to Naruto , it's just his asian eyes who makes the difference.

And we can imagine that Hiraishin No Jutsu was an family heritage, Hiruzen would have given to Minato the parchment of this Jutsu. « It was the most powerful Jutsu of your great grand father, Nidaime Sama who was my former master »

There's no family heritage like FTG, however the senju did likely mix with the others and become forgotten/extinct minus a few.

Itachi Shinden novel confirms that Itachi's teachers were senju descendants and :salt:y about his talent. Anyway the Senju mixing was because they didnt have a kekkei Genkai or anything to preserve that set them apart from others. Also to increase their hold over the village.

There are lots of similarities between Tobirama and Minato, their style of fight, their smartness, their speed, they share some techniques that noone else ever used but the 2 of them, like ftg and the finger touch sensing.

Orochimaru was also Tobirama's fan.

Maybe in Konoha, Tobirama was a great model for the shinobi. Hashirama was overcheated so I think that many shinobi knew that he couldn't have the level of Hashirama, but concerning Tobirama it was possible. Minato for example.

But the theory about Minato could be Tobirama's great grandson is also very interesting.
