This is a bait from Ikemoto/Ukyo like with the last chapter. In chapter 17's preview it implied someone mysterious is going to confront konohamaru and then boruto. who was it? Ao

And now who's waiting in Katrasuke's labaratory? it's either Ao again or Konohamaru and any KARA member. it's not Kawaki believe me.

This is just a disgusting bait by the author. I advice everyone to lower their expectations because i was very hyped with chapter 17 thinking Kawaki will be revealed and Konohamaru fights but all that didn't happen and it turns out it's a talking chapter.
