This thread got me thinking...
Beyond her multiple scenes in which she literally spies on Boruto, I wanted to REALLY know how Sarada honestly feels and reacts to Boruto.
Therefore I came up with an analysis on which I post I ton of reactions and we as a collective whole decide what is going on?:flakez:
THE SARADA UCHIHA analysis for Boruto thread::reborn:
First from a shallow point of view someone would assume Sarada despises Boruto...
Okay so we Already know that Sarada watches him... even when they are genin.
This is known as much as anyone tries and denies it.... but why?
We saw it early on in the beginning of the Anime.... She overly cares for him.
but what is that concern/care for Boruto and how far does it go?
Helps to heal him?
Be the first to his aide? (Besides Mitsuki lol)
The thing that connects the two is that she is always around during Boruto's time of need.
Then why does she pretend to hate him?
An emotion of a human being is usually not 1 dimensional.... Sarada was born in a household were she was usually alone by herself.
Not only that she was in a household without any other gender besides the female one.
Her being socially awkward towards boys is common due to the setting... Her mother who usually blurts out Power chants like took a characteristic toll on her and she believes her best way to dodge a social situation is to be assertive and overbearing.
I psychological defense that isn't just showcased with her interaction with boys but also when she is in a chaotic situation as showcased with her interaction with Cho Cho during the early part of Gaiden.
Well I got some manga caps for you since you guys love them so much:
Here are two.
Here is one were Sasuke admits Boruto as his pupil and Sarada is overjoyed.
Manga bit (look at the facial expression and not the words
Also these scenes.
Here are some Anime caps
So my take is....
1. She has a fondness for him (you decide how far that goes).
2. She is there at a time of need.
3. She is overjoyed when she breaks over her psychological barrier when with him.
Sarada if she has even more character growth might be more of a pillar to Boruto then a rival... someone who is close to him and cares for him outside his family connection.
She has some ideal of who Boruto is and as we saw in the Boruto movie arc she tires to straighten him when she sees him and when he is indeed wavering she feels the most hurt.
What do you think?

What separates this interaction with the interaction with Boruto is that due to her particular connection to him or rather her belief of one, she occasionally showcases her true feelings for him at certain times, unlike with regular boys on which she just doesn't care.Switching her defense triggers for a reason to talk to BorutoYou must be registered for see imagesYou must be registered for see images

So will Boruto realize this and Protect his Pillar of _____________________________________?
