Kisame wins mid diff as long as he doesn’t try to end Naruto by draining his chakra.

-Samehada can handle absorbing 6 tails worth of Hachibis chakra so FRS and below are child’s play nor is there enough NE inside these attacks to turn Kidame to stone. Naruto has 2 FRS and he goes back to Base.

-Naruto can’t blitz as Kisame can react to B.

-Water Dome gives Kisame the obvious advantage. Samehada fusion means none of Narutos jutsu are going to work as they get absorbed, and Taijutsu is a shit idea since Kisame can still use Ninjutsu such as 1000 sharks or GSB.

Kisame wins. Samehada can absorb surrounding chakra in it's atmosphere as it did to naruto during part 1 itachi return. In viz translation he said "Samehada cuts and devours chakra" so it can eat ninjutsu of naruto but with the condition that it first cuts it. Cutting and devouring go side by side. Kisame wins mid diff.

I find your post interesting in contrast to a couple points in the manga. When Naruto was fighting Pain, he demonstrated considerable combat intellect; as soon as he noticed Preta Path absorbing his jutsu, Naruto immediately switched to Frog Kata and destroyed Preta Path. Additionally, as soon as Naruto noticed Preta Path absorbing his chakra, Naruto started collecting more natural energy in order to turn Preta Path into a frog.

My point is, in this fight, why would Naruto not be able to adapt in a similar way? Would Naruto's attempts to channel sage energy coupled with Frog Kata not make Kisame's chakra absorption useless, and how would Kisame be able to utilize his water dome in this situation?

Frog kata is an effective counter since kisame wouldnt be able to see it. Natural energy is converted into chakra before use, even the frog kata taijutsu. Preta didnt pull up his dome before the attack hit him, since he wasnt able to see it. But samehada readily absorbs chakra in it's immediate proximity. So frog kata has a less than 10% chance of suceeding. Unlike preta, a blood containing human being, samehada fused with kisame, wouldn't be turned to stone because it's a spirit weapon. Kisame has almost infinite stamina as he converts the chakra he recieves into stamina according to Bee's partner. Kisame himself has stated his fused form has no weak spots, including he has biju level chakra at this point according to chojuro.
I wonder if naruto can fight in water dome, with all that suffocation, since someone like B in bijuu mode couldnt do anything, Eight tails admitted Bee can never beat kisame fused with same in waterdome battle. Kisame is also faster in water, his ground level reaction speed itself is 7th gate guy full speed.

Like I said, whether or not he switches his style is irrelevant as Kisame can address it. Him switching to Taijutsu gets him killed against Kisame's offensive arsenal. Preta has no offensive arsenal so that comparison doesn't work. Him letting Preta absorb his chakra to turn him to stone only mattered when he got captured. If Kisame chooses to kill him instead of absorbing all his chakra that is never a factor.

Samehada has its own chakra source and would likely turn to stone, as it's never been stated to passively have Kisame's quantity of chakra. If it's Samehada post Bee Fight, when it's still engorged on all that chakra, then yeah, Kisame wins.

Though, I guess the turning to stone depends on if the Senjutsu Naruto has is balanced or not. Should technically be perfectly balanced if he's using it, otherwise he'd run the risk of turning to stone.

But yeah, Toads probably fuck with Kisame's large scale suiton. Don't see him doing too well against him for this reason.

Haha no lol..... samehada is a spirit weapon, it doesnt have chakra lmao. If it had chakra, absorbing eight tails wouldve been impossible since many kumo shinobi died even eating a flesh piece or tentacle of hachibi.

Only basic reason this combo one-shots Kisame is, Samehada can't absorb Ninjutsu as canonically shown and FRS is equal to Susanoo Arrow in speed, which Kakashi who is as fast as 6 Gate Gai is himself couldn't, and Gai in 6 Gates was blitzing Kisame all over the place.

-Kisame's water terrain isn't an issue in front of toads.

-Frog Kata one-shots.

-Samehada absorbing Natural Energy from Naruto transforms it to a stone.

Kisame was assuming. Since itachi hyped up jiraiya, which he did to fool akatsuki as tobi revealed. Frogs would use sound genjutsu, that is, if they can perform it in time before they drown like hell. Samehada wouldnt be turned to stone, its a spirit weapon. Kisame by all means will cut jiraiya off and eat meat steaked after the match. How does frog kata one shot when kisame survived a bigger impact? No sense.

SM Naruto's reflexes and speed better than Kisame. Kisame's best bet is to rely on ranged attacks but he can't deflect/absorb FRS coming from multiple directions so he still loses or he could bring in Maa and Paa and solo Kisame with a sound genjutsu. CQC frog Kata negs.
