Do Uchiha's have a secret ability to pass on techniques?

I've always contemplated on this if they do because there are a couple instances that showcase they have the ability to pass on techniques or chakra although temporarily...the only two Uchiha shown to do this is Itachi and Obito while the ones receiving these "gifts" are Sasuke and Kakashi.

So is this a secret ability that was never expanded on or just plot devices to help the story along?

Imo those moments were just for the sake of plot but they were not the only ones, Naruto was able to manipulate chakra to such an extend that he covered the whole allied shinobi forces with Kurama chakra.

We can also consider any act of medical ninjutsu as a similar ability. Look at Sakura infusing her chakra into Obito in order for him to use Kamui to retrieve Sasuke from Kaguya desert dimension..

It was something similar to a transcription seal if not a transcription seal.

I assume it's just a form of sealing Tech, similar to how jutsu's can be sealed in scrolls

What obito did was utter BS but that's just plot no jutsu

That was because of Itachi eyes. No?

what they are referring to is the time where Obito revealed the truth to sasuke and Itachis mangekyo appeared and amaterasu activated on him independent of sasukes will.

It was a one time occurrence, until Sasuke awakened his own.

I believe Itachi implanted the technique in his left eye( via forehead tap) as a failsafe when he sees Tobi's Sharingan

exactly this.

Sasuke DID awaken his own right after, but before that it was a trap laid by Itachi.

Itachi must have really hated Obito. His dying action and thoughts were "I gotta place this trap in sasukes head in case he looks at that guy".

He also multitasks thoughts super well to be able to be thinking of sasuke, his dying words, a plan for a trap, and executing that trap all while doing his signature forehead tap for sasuke all in a few seconds.

No that was Tsukuyomi. That is what woke Sasuke’s 1 Tomoe Sharingan. The one everyone else is referring to is after Itachi died and Obito took of his mask to reveal his face to Sasuke. Immediately Amateratsu popped off to burn Obito. Itachi put it there when he poked Sasuke’s forehead right before dying.

Lol ikr? But I think it was more of him worrying he would corrupt Sasuke or even try to take his eyes kind of thing. Just a big brother looking out for his little bro on last time :score:

Those are two different things.

Itachi implanted a single use of Amaterasu into Sasuke's eye with a trigger being Obito's Sharingan, similar to how Madara implanted a single use of Izanagi into his eye with the supposed trigger being a certain amount of time passing after his death.

Obito used the link between the afterlife and the human world to temporarily channel his power through Kakash in the form of his eyesi, similar to how Hagoromo used the link between the afterlife and the human world to temporarily channel his power through Naruto and Sasuke in the form of their seals.

Its not really bullshit. I mean...what Itachi did with implanting an eye technique into Sasuke's eye to go off if he comes in contact with Obito's Sharingan, that's far more farfetched than what Madara pulled, and we accepted the first one easily enough. Same with Obito, if you stop to think about it...

Mind you, there is still plenty bullshit left in this series. Sasuke escaping Deidara's blast, Itachi pulling Izanami off his ass, Black Zetsu's betrayal....I just don't think these are part of it..

I didn't mean BS ash in unbelievable, i meant BS as in overpowered and underutilized.

example. why did Madara not use Izanagi after Black Zetsu stabbed him? there was a moment in time where he was perfectly mobile before transforming...

I do not think Izanami is an assail either, considering anyone who knew a thing about Japanese culture would see it coming. it is no more an assail than the invention of Izanagi, an ultra powerful Genjutsu that warps reality that somehow we are just now hearing about, and somehow was not used against Itachi and Obito during the massacre (really, you could kill someone you thought was asleep, and then they appear with a sword in your neck. There is no way every single person was asleep, there was SOME resistance.)

As for black Zetsu... yeah... should have at least been hinted at in some abstract way, it really felt like kishi was like "lets make a stronger villain! But... Madera can't get stronger... ooh! turns out, black zetsu was really working for this alien princess who is the SO6P mom, and the true origin of chakra!" not that her mythology doesn't fit in perfectly though, cause it does... so maybe he DID think of it a long time before, he just failed to write it in properly...

Naruto was able to do that with his skill though, He was even heavily praised for it afterward. I agree with you on the other points though.
