That’s exactly what’s I’m thinking, he had a regeneration technique and the amount of battles he’s fought all those assassination attempts, village threats and Madara his lifespan was probably shortened considerably.

I believe that hash died by aids... or maybe using wood style came with a cost like shorten of physical life/ physical body degradetion . His body just became apart with NE.

The ****? Seriously? So Hiruzen would have been active as a child soldier during the warring states period? Also, how the hell is Tsunade supposed to be Hashirama's granddaughter, she's almost as old the village... When were Hashirama and Mito even going at it, at age 13?

Probably around the time that Hashirama and Madara were leaders of their Clan, most likely.
Everyone before the Sannin's time was most likely a child solider in the warring states before Villages.
