Be honest, because you're simply an honest person. Don't try to be "honest", for personal gain.That's still being deceptive.

I don't know about you, but if someone's pretending to be honest with me, just to try to maneuver me and get something out of me for personal gain,not only is that manipulative, but that's STILL considered dishonesty...because you don't have pure/genuine intent.YOU want something from me, whether it be validation or something else...that's called "personal gain"...and it's selfish.Get outta here.
