Most of the Seven Mist Swords and the Fodder Kids Trying to Use Them are Lame

I mean a few of the Swords are cool like the lightning sword as well as the sword Chojuro uses and Samehada. The other four swords though are really lame. The sword Zabuza used literally had no useful abilities other than being a big sword. Zabuza was only really a threat because he was an overall skilled ninja. The one literally is just a sewing needle with metal wire coming out of it. The one is literally just a club connected by chain a big mallet on the other end. The last is the lamest of all with it literally just being a sword with paper bombs attached to it. How the user doesn't just immediately blow themselves up I do not know. You saw how easy the four using the four lame swords were defeated since they were literally fodder level with no skills themselves and since they were not using swords that really granted them any special abilities that meant they were easily dealt with.

Yeah author should be more creative for the remaining swords. I keep thinking about sword power of Akame and Kurome and Gravity sword being used here

Kishi should have watched Bleach to think of cool swords and techniques he could give them.

I agree, most of the swords are overhyped. FFS Chojuro beat them with a broken sword, in the end they are just weapons, and half of them could literally be recreated. I'm not saying that they should have been god swords, but they shouldn't be hyped up so much if half of them are just above average swords. Actually amazing sword powers could include:

-gravity manipulation *thgt89's suggestion
-instant death upon being cut (Akame) * also thgt89's suggestion
-genjutsu powers (Kyoka Suigetsu from Bleach)
-magnetism

just to name a few.
