The fact that you are sourcing the Manga already means you took the phattest L of 2017.

I can't deal with trying to explain why the Novel's are not canon. Same reason why none of the other novels are not canon.

If the Manga sources the Field Trip, then it happened, loosely on what the Anime showed. Unless it gets retconned in the Manga.

hate it all u want this arc gave boruto and sarada alot of development unlike the manga. and btw fun fact. this was the first sarada solo fight in the entire series. give it some appreciation

Mist Arc literally impacted their characters nowhere.

They are still the same Burrito and Salad from the start of the Mist Arc lol... just stronger.

This fight gave sarada more experience in fights.and showed us her true sharingan potential where the manga didn't show. and also u can't ignore the boruto stream this jutsu is a great jutsu that deputed in this arc.

When chapter 16 released, I was disappointed which made me just troll everyone.
And ofc at some point I moved on and picked up a new fav character, I’m still not watching the anime which doesn’t say anything.
