How would the boruto manga be different if sarada was the main character instend

I mean, the best rated episodes out of the entire Boruto series up until now are the Sarada ones. And the next one is probably going to be one of them as well. On the other hand, the Boruto-focused episodes have terrible ratings - with few exceptions, of course.

Now, right off the bat, I can think of at least 5 characters that would make a better protagonist than Boruto: Sarada, Shikadai, Mitsuki, Shinki and Kagura.

Sarada is barely interesting and her goal is redundant, no thanks. Boruto is by far a better main character than her.

The only reason that Gaiden is apparently well rated is simply because of Sasuke & Naruto, nothing else.

Other than fan service, Gaiden is terrible ; Fights and conflict with Shin too short, family drama aspects too long, atrocious and straight up nonsensical villain, huge plotholes, incredibly anticlimactic, almost every character acts like an idiot in order to have drama that very easily could've been avoided if the adults behaved like adults, ultimately irrelevant aside from Sarada awakening the Sharingan.

Honestly from an unbiased standpoint, I don't think it would be that different from the current events.

Sarada would probably end up getting Momoshiki's Mark, and she would be the 'Cursed child' of the story. But -- It wouldn't be an original story per se, at least what they are trying to market.

It would be focused on Sarada becoming Hokage, so that might have a contributing factor to fan base on whether or not they can continue a story with the same goals being highlighted.

Regardless I wouldn't mind as long as I get my Boruto fix. He would be the secondary main character, and they could write him up more like Sasuke.

Sarada would be the one getting power-ups by fighting alongside demi-gods instead of Boruto.

It'd be pretty boring, honestly. We've already seen all there is to see with the uchiha, best we go with something new. Granted, up until this point Boruto has just been a Naruto clone, but at least in his case there's the possibility of divergence with his whole hyuuga/otsutsuki shindig.

I can't disagree with this.

It would be interesting far more than what the manga is now. It could be the journey of an Obito/Itachiesque Character struggling to become Hokage. The first Uchiha overcoming innate bad feelings towards the Uchiha because of Sasuke's actions being her dad, Madara's for killing of many in the NV and Obito's for terrorising everybody. While trying to get them to acknwoledge her by helping them. The story would definitely have depth that's for sure from the Uchiha trying to bring an end to the ninja world to saving the ninja world.

The good news is Sarada wouldn't need power ups etc.
