 Looks | 外見 Marik's usual outfit consists of purple hooded robes and a long purple cape with a gold chain at the front. He wears golden earrings, three bands of neckwear, an armband on each arm, and five bracelets on each arm starting from close to his elbows down to his wrists. He has dark skin, purple eyes and white-gold hair, he also has black eyeliner around his eyes but will immediately become more prominent when using his Gold Dust Kekkei Genkai. Personality | 性格 Marik has a divided personality that varies at random which can be categorized as a split personality. At a general sense Marik seems like a regular fellow, a caring calm soul that may sometimes crack a few jokes, however, may turn within seconds to another personality of his he himself calls ''Yami Marik'' which will be a complete opposite of his original persona. Yami Marik is represented as a pure evil character of sorts, power hungry, and a person that knows no mercy that would murder a group of baby birds without a single thought. Background Info | 基礎的な情報 "The Egyptian Pharaohs Downfall !"  History | 歴史 Chapter I Marik Ishtar was born in the foreign land called Egypt under the first Pharaoh, first of his name, ruler of the whole land which was widely known to be completely righteous in his ways. It was not till the age of ten when Marik was noticed by the first Pharaoh, seeing potential in his bright purple eyes he recruited him under his royal guards to train to be one when he reached the proper age of fifteen. Marik showed the highest potential in his training group, the most powerful and the most wise of any kid that was in his class essentially leading to him being even more noticed by the Pharaoh himself, before the age of fifteen Marik was recruited as the Pharaohs personal guard making him not only the most highest rank in the Egyptian armies but also the most youngest. It was not till a few years later, making Marik at least sixteen now that he noticed the true presence that the Pharaoh had behind the walls of his castle. The first Pharaoh expressed fearsome power hungry, greedy, and otherwise pure evil notions towards everyone under his rank; cutting down any of his guards that would even look towards his direction as he forced all his guards that graduated from training to look upright directing their eyesight away from the Pharaoh as he believed solely that everyone but him were peasants in his eyes but would make a exception for Marik as he thought of him as a son. Of the age of twenty Marik led a organized assault on the castle of Egypt, having expressed tiredness to the first Pharaohs evil ruling he had support from over 50% of the whole land having reached a total of 5k men under his ranking, although not as big as most armies Egypt wasn't as big back then that it is now. Marik led his whole army straight at the front gate leading to the first 3k of his armies dead at the gate but as Marik knew full well that the first Pharaoh had more men at the gate than the inside of the castle he knew the rest would come easy. Busting through the gate with ease, having now only 2k men behind him they would only walk into a complete slaughter of the opposing side; having the sandy brick walls covered in the first Pharaohs royal guards blood. Soon Marik arrived at the door that led to the room of the first Pharaoh to where he expected him to be, kicking down the door with complete ease by ordering his men to bust it down he walked forward into the middle of the room to where he met the first Pharaoh to where they then locked eyes; both succumbing to complete silence. For the first time ever Marik would thrust his arms forward at the pharaoh in a sudden but yet surprising attack from the walls around them, Marik now displayed his true prowess that he kept secret for all these years, the power of Gold Dust. The brick walls surrounding them that was made of sand suddenly sparked with flair of gold then shot forward to wrap around the pharaoh, Marik took this time to walk forward now positioning them both face to face he spoke, ''Your evil will never corrupt these lands ever again. '' Marik raising his fist upright causing the Gold Dust that wrapped around the pharaoh to tighten immediately inward crushing every bone in his body instantly and thus killing him within seconds. The sand now falling down to form a pool of Gold Dust around the pharaoh Marik notices a shiny gold item strapped on the now dead pharaohs body, succumbing to curiosity Marik immediately grabbed it and held it in front of him to view it. A pure gold, yet small staff that had a spherical eye shape on the top and two horns beside it, Marik looked straight into the eye of the tool and became dazed by its presence, now under some sort of hypnotized illusion that emitted from the eye of the staff itself he stood there for a few minutes staring deeply into the golden eye. Suddenly Marik was thrust out of the illusion, now his hair spiked he turned around facing the exit of the pharaohs room he displayed a devilish smile before he began to immediately performing a full on assault on his own armies with the overwhelming crushing power of his Gold Dust; laughing evilly whilst killing the rest of his loyal suspects before walking slowly out of the castle and leaving the foreign land of Egypt to the land of Ninja.
