What do you think about possible rivalry in Boruto

Naruto vs Sasuke - Boruto vs Sarada. But not one you think.

I think about fact that Sasuke trains Boruto and Boruto wants to be like Sasuke while Sarada admires Naruto and shares his dream of becoming Hokage.

So would it be cool if Naruto trains Sarada and they compete against Sasuke and Boruto.

Boruto and Sarada won't be close to same level they might be competitive with each other but not real rivals.

In reality, when a child sees another child spending time with their parent, that they themselves don't get spend time with, it typically creates jealousy.

They should become jealous of each other, creating some kind of hatred between them...which would lead to some kind of rivalry.Might even add wonderful depth to the story. They admire each other, but at the same time they're slightly jealous of each other.Plus, I barely see sarada interact with her dad.

it would have to be via plot... aka the writers decision to do so

since Naruto is the 7th Hokage and he doesn't have time to train other people (as seen in the manga he didn't even test out that arm with Boruto alone but had his gen moniter the match as a group).

and when he does have free time he tries to optimize it with sleep or spending time with his family as seen in the anime

Sarada or Boruto won't be rivals becuase their striving for two separate things so their isn't going to be a a classic verbatim rivalry between the two. But who's to say that they won't get stronger because they know the other one is strong? Sarada has the perfect potential to give anyone In her generation a run for their money, Uchiha greatness.

literally nothing to do compared to Naruto being merged into the fire country and other shinobi alliances beyond just military and missions

Hashirama was kage with family and still trained Hiruzen and other's. Same as Tobirama he was kage trained Hiruzen and co and participated in a war. Hiruzen had a son and grandson yet still spent majority of his time around the village interacting with people.

even then before the war (which making new ninjas becomes a priority) building the village power/defense via troops was the main priority and not politics and other scenarios that Naruto indulges in let alone does more so now after Kakashi's reforms

The uchiha haters have always said that sasuke is weaker than naruto, and naruto's techniques and his fighting style is the best, and hyuga clan is stronger than the uchiha clan, but now we see them with great joy, because boruto follows the way of sasuke and becomes his disciple, instead of following naruto or hyuga clan's path !!

No it isn't because that's when Tobirama was killed by the kin and gin forces. And made Hiruzen kage.

Which means he was also hella busy to try and make a stable civilization for the future.

You mean stuff like trying to have peace with enemies while keeping peace with allies. While not trying to let enemy nations attack and trying to maintain order is easier than a already made peace and just trying to reform and expand the village?

Mistsuki worships Boruto so don't think they'll ever be rivals.
Sarada probably will become very strong but will always be weaker than Boruto so again she won't be a rival.

Maybe Kawaki could be his rival but he doesn't look like to be a ninja. So we just have to wait and see.
