Jinton never touched Madara or Susanoo

After a discussion with another user I decided to make a post explaining a misconception about Madara "Tanking" Jinton with Susanoo.


Jinton is by far one of the most powerful abilities in this series. With this post id like to clarify the situation concerning Madara and Susanoo.

Jinton vs Madara:

Each instance of Jinton usage Madara either:

However the situation in question is "MAdara Tanking" Jinton which is believed in the image below:

Looking at the image above and basing off the mechanics of both Jinton and Perfect Susanoo.
Madara dodged Jinton completely.

But mellanoma? Wtf you talking about!.

Ok lets analyze both techniques and I will explain it.

Jinton Cube:

In the above image you notice that Onoki used the Cube Jinton which is essentially a controlled demolition that only affects the area contained in it.

This was displayed vs Sasuke as well.

This style of dust release only impacts what's inside the cube which if you notice. Perfect Susanoo is not within the cube to be harmed by it.


Perfect susanoo mechanic.

The other misconception is that Madara formed Susanoo while in the Jinton cube to tank it.

This is partially true as yes Madara was forming susanoo however Unstabal/ Perfect susanoo mechanics lifts the user to the middle of it's avatar until finally at it's head in PS stabilized form. At least based on manga.

This essentially puts Madara here.

This means Madara didn't "Tank" Jinton he used his Susanoo to dodge it easily. Both feats are great on his behalf as its smarter to dodge than exert yourself especially since Susanoo doesn't allow Preta.

Jinton was used to destroy the susano'o clones, real Madara wasnt even caught in it , he just got hit by it - destroying half of his body, and after the sealing, he summoned PS.

Onoki splitting the cube to make way for Mei's Lava Dragon and Gaara's sand sealing jutsu. Madz jump outside of Jinton cube to avoid Lava Dragon attack but got caught by Sand jutsu. But badass Madara escaped the sealing using FS

Actually without Onoki splitting up the cube in no way Madara can escape/jump outside of the cube. The cube is like a solid wall container. Brilliant kind of jutsu I would say.

He was in the range, and jumped out before he got hit which is why he only lost an arm and a leg instead of losing all his body and why PS was outside the range of Jinton.
