Ignorance. :lmao:

Yeah, I think that will be ignored by the vast majority of NarutoBase, fan-boys in particular.
I just read a reference to a field trip to Kirigakure and the fact that Ao was from the hidden mist and didn't return there. Even the author exaggerates things. Their marketing is strong and if anything, Ao is connected to the hidden mist of the past.

With all the evidence against your point, it seems you're the one trying to validate your false opinion.
There isn't really much evidence against his point.

Just because said anime arc is mentioned in the manga doesn't make what ever was shown in the anime arc version as cannon. It's like in the Naruto anime/Manga, Obviously the k11 had to go through the chunin exams again to become chunin obviously, Though not shown in the manga this was shown in the anime but the events that happened in the anime are not cannon but the idea of them taking the chunin exams is cannon.

As Dreck said, The Idea is cannon but the event that happened in the anime are not.

bro THERE is absolutely no reason for boruto to mention the trip other than the writer trying to say the arc is canon and is an event tha actually happened in boruto's life. THERE IS NO OTHER REASON THAN THAT
It's called story telling, Animators expand upon cannon arcs all the time and that's what we call "filler", They fill the gaps in between that the manga does not.

It's like saying that if the Naruto anime went into detail of Naruto's training with Jiraiya before shippuden time skip, That would be cannon simply because the event/idea of naruto training with Jiraiya was cannon.

So because Toriyama only supervises Dragon Ball Super, its events are non-canon?

I'm not even arguing. The only reason I'm on this thread is because I enjoy debating with people. Though I primarily entertain trolls.

I don't think anyone believes it if they're saying the Arc isn't canon.

We agree that it is. However, it's how much is canon that is questionable. And the author has implied only a little bit can be considered canon. Unfortunately, we can't pick out what is and isn't canon in the field trip, but since he said only a little is canon, we might as well consider it filler.

What u said doesn’t make sense at all. Boruto mentioning the trip that IF filler he shouldn’t have mentioned is canon whether u like it or not . Not just that but also the writer himself came out and said it which proves he’s writing/involved

Okay, I'm clearing up all confusion. If you read Ukyo-san's statement correctly he said "connected to the anime a little bit." That means that the arc is canon, but the chapter's CONNECTED to the anime's current events with a reference. Not that the arc itself isn't fully canon.

You concluded the little bit part differently . The little bit is just that one panel boruto mentions the arc not the arc itself so it’s all canon and legit

So you are going to ignore some different interpretation of his terms when his statement were vague and you're going to use it as your head canon that it's Filler when there is no absolute certaintity

They want to fabricate what he said to make it look like there is only a little bit of canon even though the little bit part was reference to that one panel
