You mean Hamura and Hagoromo? Hago was obviously stronger once he awakened Rinnegan. Just because they fought Kaguya together doesn't mean they were equal. And even if they were, it had to be because of something else. Their doujutsus were in different leagues.

I usually don't fall for such weak baits or trolling, but Hyuuga fans are surely trying too hard this time. Byakugan surpassing Sharingan is a bad fanfic. I don't blame them tho, they were irrelevant for the whole part 2, so now they swallow and fap to every little piece of relevancy and spotlight they can get.

Of course they were equal, portrayal puts them on par with each each other, since both got half of Kaguya's power much like Ashura and Indra got from Hagoromo, and Hamura is paralleled with Sasuke and Hagoromo with Naruto. It's the exact same dynamic with all 3 pairs.

With all that said, they both had Six Paths Senjutsu, Truth Seeker Orbs, and Staffs. Aside from that, the only difference between them is Byakugan and Rennigan.
