He has scars on his right side of his body that extends from his face to his hands

His left side on the other hand has an exposed robo arm and leg. If his left half is completely robotic is up for debate as the clothing he is wearing is covering the majority of his left side.

Another thing with his right side is that he is either burnt/scared or like Obito is comprised of White Zetsu cells.


His right eye is still covered meaning he could still have his stolen byakugan.

I think he either survived because of some secret Byakugan technique, mabui teleported him away OR it was sheer luck.

It's probably the first case, since the second makes no sense. Why would Mabui teleport him and not herself? Third one sounds about as stupid as what happened to Obito. I mean, tanking a Juubidama? Ao would be unstoppable :lol

I think i'ts none of these, an Ootsutsuki or Kara member saved him most likely. Only question is why?

Well the only reason why he is alive is because of his Byakugan (obviously)- I mean plotwise. The only reason why I considered the possibility of Mabui teleporting him away is because of his missing limbs and scars all over his body.

Do you remember what mabui said? Those who don't possess a strong body will suffer from the teleportation jutsu. I guess he was the only one who had the guts (?).

But that's just my theory. I'm pretty sure he was saved but I don't think by any Kara member because no one could know about the Ototsuki's during the war and their goal is Ototsuki related isn't it?

The pot is reasonable tbh, just super outlandish considering even Ay was advised not to use it. So someone like Ao using and surviving it is just nonsensical.

Well, it's not known how long Kara has been around, and they could have gotten info on Ootsutsukis one way or the other. Getting info from the Kaguya Clan, ending up in their dimension by accident via S/T powers, or ending up on the moon via one of those water portals. Granted, I don't actually think that's the case, as I think Kara is being manipulated by the Ootsutsuki.
