No you should read the scans Naruto doesn't deny it and Sasuke sees it. And Naruto lost all ability to kill Sasuke even if he wanted to continuse trying after that moment. Sasuke didn't because his jutsu can still kill. What jutsu did naruto have that could kill at that point?
