We can all agree Kagura is Canon

Today’s episode confirmed he’s the grandson of Yagura a CANON character. And then we saw Kagura in the opening and Ending . He doesn’t look filler to me . He’s a legit character in the boruto universe

Yeah I think so I think at the very least it was stated some of the beginning arcs are canon

It's like Dragonball Super. The manga and anime are in 2 different places at the moment but the overall arcs are the same.

Though the manga is ahead, the anime is filling in the academy stuff we do I didn't get to see. They also added in his doujutsu which the manga hasn't gone over yet. So they are both their own canon of sorts with plots intersecting at various points.

As far as characters are concerned, formed as long as they appear in both (either currently or later on) I'll consider them canon.
