Nice analysis and production hand claps for a job well done
Some interesting points I didn't think about is how the movie didn't rely on nostalgia to be great it did help it to but fundamentally this was borutos story his coming of age story
It told it's own story with brand new characters whilst recreating the FEEL of part 1 nostalgia. Genuinely smart and risky decision.
Also never considered that Narutos hokage 24/7 and even times he see him he acts as hokage making me sympathize with borutos feelings. And he didn't start appreciating even those moments till he was gone
What I disagree with is Naruto winning over characters with empathy and undeestanding the way I see it is Naruto won over others by being the number one gutsy ninja. By sheer tenacity he gave people hope that he couldn't lose and he also won with his dream of unifying and being friends with all people pretty much bringing people together with power love and giving something better to believe in and hope for while sasukes path was with fear.
Unity/Teamwork comes under empathy. Knucklehead ninja/#1 most unpredictable in my mind just made him unique enough to have this stance. It's Naruto's empathy that allowed him to see a human inside the demon Gaara, drunk Tsunade and broken Sasuke. It's embedded into his Ninja Way because he formed it upon realising Haku and Zabuza were the enemy...but human like him.
Also disagree with your analysis that hard work didn't really matter mighty guys the greatest non rikudo ninja fighter do to hard work and Naruto gotten handouts but the reason he's gotten to where he is hardwork. Narutos faced characters more talented than him and beat all of them with hard work so I think the series stayed true to this theme.
Oh for this point I literally just meant IN the Chunnin Exams arc. Thought it was odd how OP skilless demons (Gaara/Temari) were about in Part 1 but in Boruto it's suddenly not okay.
Thanks for watching & discussing though man, was a tough & fun one to edit.
