Madara and Indra

When do you think Indra' s chakra/power kicks in because if you look at Madara he was willing to die at Hashirama's hands( even though Hashirama had help) and consider it an honour. Indra would never be willing to lose to or die at Ashura's hands.

Madara also never considered himself inferior either. It was at this point he considered Hashirama as an even match for him. And he wanted to enjoy battling him it's like he became more like Indra.

I don't think awakening EMS is a condition to become an Indra incarnate. I think their potential remains dormant until they awaken the EMS if they're a transmigrant.

If they didnt share the same personalities there wouldn't be conflict between Ashura and Indra incarnates.

As for Hashirama he was willing to do whatever was necessary to protect the dream after he experienced it and exhausted all possibilities even in the end he tried to convince Madara (who played him by the way). After that he killed him.

Naruto was too young and idealistic but even he decided to kill Sasuke(fighting to kill so he stands a chance of winning) he managed a draw.

Besides Naruto was influenced by the sage of 6 paths to a degree.

As for Sasuke and Madara they saw the other interfering with their ideals and goals so they wpuld despise each other.

No Indra never needed EMS neither did or do his incarnates. What I'm saying is once they manifest the power of PS (whether with or without EMS) then they awaken Indra s chakra /personality to do so.

Your right but I expect similarity in personality because that is why the conflict between the 2 continues through the ages. Unless the transmigration cycle has nothing to do with the conflict itself a belief I've long held. In that case transmigration wouldn't be over even after the sauce and noodles made up.

We don't actually know if the others awoke it or not. We only have it documented that these 2 awoke it because they're important to the story. It's equally likely the old incarnates would kill each other long before the awakening of the power or chakra. At this point it's all speculation.

The manga gave us speculation in parts how would Itachi know if anybody awoke it before or didn't. The only ones that would know are black zetsu(who approached previous incarnates to tempt them) and possibly Hogaromo. Oh and the previous incarnates.

They tried after Madara according to Itachi but I don't believe that for a moment considering he was trying to manipulate Sasuke.

We know during Madara's time he and Izuna has MS shortly after Izuna's death he gained the EMS. Fought Hashirama and made peace. Since then the Uchiha were pretty much at peace until Tobirama's time. During that time we don't here of any MS users of people stealing each other's eyes or killing each other for them. Except Itachi's claims to show how wicked Madara/Tobi is and what he started. That's why it's clearly a lie and not factual.

From before that it's never confirmed or denied we have no backstory only a very general outline.

Both Madara and Indra were loners, loved power, left their respective homes to sought power, returned back home, fought loved ones and lost and both swore to keep on living to fulfill their dreams, with Indra it was reincarnation and with Madara it was Nagato using the Rinne Rebirth and they both had a little brother, I would say they are pretty similar and both used their susanoo to fight their loved ones.
