In my opinion it was very good. the animation the choreography , the style , the jutsus. there was nothing like DBZ explosions. like the end of shippuden.Sumire is a good female character and very powerful for her age.And Mitsuki's jutsus are very good. Snake lightning wind syche

There were little explosions happen here and there. If happen the explosions were small unlike Bijuu bomb. Evey explosions dwarf a mountain.

Dragon Ball/Z is about CQC and speed battle where Naruto/Boruto series is very pathetic at that.

Actually Naruto series started a new kind of terrain busting battle.

At least when its needed DBZ can pull off Planet busting successfully.

If we count in small explosions into the overall explosion count sure DBZ is far from little but Naruto also got many small explosions that happen here and there in the battle. And then theres the big one.

But still what you believe falls flat as most of battle in DBZ were in the form of CQC battles and not flashy jutsu battles here and there.

Even in the final fight between Goku and Vegeta vs Kid Buu they fought mostly in Closed Combat Battle. They also threw many Energy blast at each other but compares to VOTE2 battle large explosion happen very less.
