It's funny ya'll think he's making empty threats. I may not agree with how he's going about the whole diplomacy thing, but he's literally not wrong. We could turn 'Rocket Man' into ash in less than a minute. They would not have time to retaliate. That's why he talks the way he does. Because he knows it and he has seen it.

Trump's trying to run his mouth it's American policy war keeps the economy ticking over. North Korea is a very bad idea Trump can talk smack all he likes but even stray missiles hitting power plants in south Korea and Japan would cause nuclear fallout.

The US needs to stop antagonising them and he's even willing to cause another neeess war with Iran. If he really wants to reform the UN he should just give up the US veto and then force the other powers to do so.

But you didnt acknowledge the terms in which he'd "destroy" NK. Are you not fine with the U.S. responding to NK with military action in defense of itself or allies?

Terms being "if the U.S. has to defend itself or an ally against an attack from NK, it will respond with military force". I' think those terms are fair. If NK ex. launches a bomb at ex. our western coast, or Japan, America will respond with military force.

Btw, stop sensationalizing a potential war with NK as a moral evil ("genocidal", "war crime"). Responding to a military attack with military force has been the cause of nearly all major historical wars. Most people don't want war, but many times war is a necessary action. Do you think ex. America responding w/ military force to the pearl habor attacks was a genocidal war crime?
