So you may realise the appreciation of female characters appearing on the discussion a lot, well I believe it's time to appreciate the girls in this manga as we barely see them. Usually, the most level-headed and intelligent female kunoichi are far from weak.
Kushina was the jinchuruki of the nine-tails and an uzumaki, Tsunade is a legendary shinobi, pioneer of medical ninjutsu who eventually became Kage, Hinata is the strongest female doijutsu user in the leaf, Mei was a Kage of a once tarnished village.
Ino became a strong-willed woman who specialises not only in clan techniques but medical ninjutsu, Kurotsuchi became Kage, Sakura an average girl became one of the worlds greatest medical ninja and Konan almost took out Tobi and was an S-Rank ninja.
Shounen is typically a male dominated manga genre, so for woman to accomplish that much is quite astounding and unlike other series like Fairy Tail where sexualisation if females became a focal point of the character most females in Naruto endured a lot or have used their pain to become stronger. Kishimoto may have not done the best but these characters were still entertaining to view!
