Hinata vs Momoshiki could happen

I mean the director said the movie was too short so they were forced to skip many scenes. Then he carried on and said they expanding many things left off in the movie in the anime.

Hinata vs Momoshiki was off paneled. That's why Boruto anime MUST show us the fight even though it was one sided because fodder Hinata can;t do anything to Momoshiki but i'd like to see her fodder struggles and how Momoshiki reacts to her fodder Bayakugan.

At least this fight will make Hinata shine a bit. she's the protagonist's fodder mother afterall. not that i care if she gets any shine

So? if that fight contradicted the naruto universe then yes it would be considered filler. but like i said any addition to the movie arc in the anime is something the directors wanted to put but couldn't so it's all canon

We know hinata lost to momo so Adding those extra scene arn't really much of a filler as long as it follows and predate from the movie. Same thing with how the manga completely off paneled sakura vs shin fight where the anime made some adjustments yet the outcome is still the same.
