Pinnacle of Doujutsu - Superiority and Inferiority

I seem to get the impression that not everyone has the same opinion on whose doujutsu is superior - Madara's dual Rinnegan or Sasuke's singular 6-Tomoe Rinnegan.

So what's the agreement, which is superior to the other and what do we base that off of?

Although I kind of agree, just comparing them on their basic level and excluding their distinct powers (Limbo/Amenotejikara), Sasuke's should be superior since his is practically a Rinnegan merged with two Sharingan.

Have to agree. Never understood why some people said Madara's is superior based on the fact he has two instead of one.

Sasuke's Tomoe Rinnegan can be considered to be equal to Kaguya's to some degree, IF we are to consider the fact his 6 Tomoe Rinnegan works in conjuction with his 3T Sharingan. Adding 6T + 3T = 9 and that's practically the Rinne-Sharingan. Add on the fact it evolves further into EMS and you get Kaguya's eye /w EMS. This seems far-fetched if you compare what Kaguya's eye could do, but you have to consider she had monstrous chakra while Sasuke's is not nearly as much. But I guess if Sasuke can open portals with his and even manipulate the positions of targets around him, his eye would be even more powerful it had nearly as much chakra as Kaguya's. He could perhaps open two portals at the same time or switch the position of everything around him at once. Just a theory though. But Sasuke's eye is definitely superior to Madara's, just as Naruto's RSM was superior.

Madara's Rinnegan abilities are stronger, but Sasuke can use his Sharingan powers with his Rinnegan.

He was a Juubi Jin though, so naturally his abilities should have been on a greater scale.

It can also cast Genjutsu powerful enough to subdue 9 Tailed Beasts.

Madara's could be more powerful if we compare them with their distinct ability included (Limbo & Amenotejikara) but fundamentally, Sasuke's proves to be superior based on the aforementioned and the fact it retains Sharingan abilities.

My personal beleif is the rinne sharingan is a pure Yin eye since the Sage's yin chakra awoke it and only in the eye that he was given the power up. That's why it still retains it's tomeo rings.

The rinnegan itself is a yin yang eye and loses it tomeo but the user can use Yin yang release.

Power wise I'd say they're about the same. 1 has twice the concentration and matches the strength of 2 rinnegan.

the chakra is all that matters. the eye goes blind but the chakra doesn't disappear. we even seen a blind itachi use susanoo

They are different dude.

Sasuke's Rinnegan offers:

- One unique ability (depends on skill)
- All Standard Rinnegan abilities (depends on skill)
- All Sharingan abilities

Madara's offers:

- One unique ability (depends on skill)
- All Rinnegan abilities (depends on skill)

Based on that, Sasuke's should be superior. (The vessels will make them vary in power, but fundamentally, the former is more versatile, thus superior).

I don't get how people do not realize this, Sasuke has one Rinnegan because it's meant to mirror Kaguya's dojutsu, in other words Sasuke's Rinnegan is superior to Madara's dual wielding Rinnegan.


Sasuke's left eye has the power of dual Rinnegan and is combined with Indra's Sharingan power, both are requirements to unlock Kaguya's power which he has a portion of.
