Gaara can't handle a V4 Susanoo w/ Totsuka and Yata that lasts indefinitely. That and Amaterasu is a danger if he gets too far away for him to see Itachi's eye bleed, cause if he doesn't know it's coming he can't protect himself with Sand, but the main issue is Susanoo. Distance is only 25 meters, so closing said distance shouldn't be hard for someone as fast as Itachi. Then Susanoo clobbers him.

And no. Susanoo at this level cannot be breached from the bottom. Itachi wins mid difficulty at the very worst.

Undoubtedly it'd burn through it. But once it's applied all Gaara needs to do is drop the sand armor.

War Arc Gaara beats Itachi more times than not. Edo Itachi on the other hands beats Gaara 10/10 times. An unlimited stamina Itachi is one of the most OP characters in the manga.

Gaara smashes itachi. Itachi's susanoo can be bypassed from beneath until proven otherwise.
Yasaka magatama isn't doing squat.

Genjutsu isn't a factor due to gaara having plenty of ways like sand clones to avoid, and counter it.Even if itachi does successfully hit gaara with a genjutsu(which will never happen) gaara's sand will protect him from all directions without gaara doing anything,which makes itachi exert a great deal a chakra.

Gaara can attack, defend, and distract itachi all at the same time, Plus his attacks come highly scaled which puts itachi in such a overwhelming position that he's going to waste even MORE chakra defending than attacking

Amaterasu is no match for gaaras chakra sand. And i'm still waiting to see proof that totsuka can pierce through the toughest defenses. However,even if it could gaara still has ways of countering it to.

Long story short. Gaara could pretty much have this match going until he decides to end it.

Unless this is Jinchuriki Gaara, Edo Itachi beats him. This version of Itachi has the privilege of unlimited Chakra. Gaara beats alive Itachi, tho.

War arc gaara beats alive itachi, about edo if he can use susano all the time then itachi beats him, but that doesn't seem to be the case to me, i mean against kabuto itachi wasn't using susano all the time. Only when needed. Also minato ran out of chakra as edo. So i dunno.

Same reason I listed above. The only way stamina would become a major factor is if the battle lasted long enough for Itachi to weaken himself enough to the point where Gaara would win, which it won't given the distance and the fact that Gaara can't take on Itachi's V4 Susanoo in close-mid range.

If Gara can bypass Susano's armor by attacking Itachi's feet by sand from underground then he definitely has a chance of winning here as long as he knows of Itachi's Genjutsu and amatrasu .he just needs to fly up and cover himself with egg sand shield then attack itachi with his long range sand and from underground . the only attack that itachi can throw and reach Gara is probably his susano magatama which can be blocked with convenient amounts of sand or evaded so itachi would be on the defensive all the time as long as Gara is not doing something fool like getting close enough to itachi's susano which would make him unable to move the amounts of sand needed to properly block Susano attacks in time .overall Edo Itachi is obviously the superior one here but Gara happens to have the necessary tools to counter itachi quite well .

Lol not even :| it failed to burn through the samuari armor in time before temari and kankuro intervened gaaras sand armor is made up of the hardest materials in the ground which is > the samuri armor

his sand armor at the age of 12 took not only all of unweighted lee attacjs but a full on barrage from 5 gated lee. His sand armor is nothing to sleep on. Keep in mind gaara left the rocklee fight virtually unharmed the only thing lee managed to do was outrun gaaras sand but not actually damage him

But back on topic edo itachi shits unlimited stamina and chakra and no blindness

Gaara only compares to itachi if alive and thats still a big if however while alive he has a lot of things going for him like itachi sickness having more chakra and stamina then itachi and also having flight

It doesnt really spawn if anything it travels really ****ing fast. Because had it spawned when sauce used it against the raikage it wouldve just stayed in the air or fell to the ground instead it traveled further to the samuri
